In addition to my weekday teaching in Philadelphia Pubic Schools, I maintain a studio of private students in the greater Philadelphia Metro area. I love working with students of all ages and abilities in this setting and exploring new musical avenues together to grow as trombone players and musicians. My goals as an instructor are two-fold, helping students develop a strong foundation as trombone players by establishing clear goals, consistent practice routines, and progressive skill building, but also helping students find their own unique musical identity in order to think independently, unlock their creativity, problem solve, and to make the music they want to, on their terms. There is no limit to what a student can achieve with the right guidance, and it is my priority to help every student achieve their fullest potential. I am available for in person lessons and commonly teach in students' houses, at my in home studio, or virtually via Zoom. I am open to lessons held at regularly weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly intervals, or one-time lessons to help with whatever a student might need. If you are interested in learning more about my availability or lesson rates, please send me a message via the Contact Me page.Â
